About Community Catalyst
Community Catalyst is the National Program Office for Consumer Voices for Coverage and will provide grantees and their networks with training, support and specialized technical assistance.
Community Catalyst, located in Boston, Massachusetts, is a national non-profit advocacy organization dedicated to quality, affordable health care for all. With a mission to increase consumer involvement in – and influence on – the health care system, we affect health care where it matters the most—in the communities where our families and friends live, work, learn and play.
Since 1997, we have provided partnership, leadership and technical support to state and local organizations, policymakers, and foundations that are working to change the health care system so it serves everyone—especially the most vulnerable members of society. Our staff of experienced policy analysts, attorneys, organizers, and organizational development specialists has worked with groups in over 30 states, helping them achieve wide-ranging reform, in areas like Medicaid, state-level options to expand coverage, prescription drug prices, and diversity in the physician workforce.
Through this work, we are building the consumer and community leadership required to transform the American health system. We believe that this transformation will happen when consumers are fully engaged and have an organized voice.
